2019 Grant Recipient: Camp Merrywood

This summer we had a great visit at Camp Merrywood, a fully accessible camp run by Easter Seals Ontario for children with physical disabilities. We’re pleased that Camp Merrywood was one of our grant recipients this year. This grant enables a local resident to attend this amazing camp.

Campers can choose to do a range of fun activities from kayaking, sail-boating, canoeing, crafts, games, singing, dancing, archery, fishing… and more!

Our guides for our visit were camper Josh and counselor Nora. This was a return year for Josh and he especially enjoys archery and fishing. Nora is from Ireland and she shared with us that many of the counselors come from all over the world and that even the campers come to Camp Merrywood from all parts of Canada.
