By |Published On: August 7, 2019|

We believe it is important to bring awareness to issues such as poverty in our community. Ending poverty is the first of the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs).

We want to hear your voice about these topics. Get in touch with us through our website or call us at 613-354-7333.

From January to March 2019, a Warming Center was implemented in the Napanee Area Community Health Center (NACHC) to support the situation of homelessness in Napanee. Over a period of 84 nights, the Warming Center served a total of 120 different clients.

The Warming Center was made possible and supported by, but not limited to: United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington, Prince Edward Lennox and Addington Social Services (PELASS), Napanee Area Community Health Centre, The Morningstar Mission, the local OPP, Kingston Home Base Non-Profit Housing Inc, multiple volunteers and trained professional staff.
