Established in 2012, the purpose of the Dorothy Grace Bell Fund is to provide support for children and youth initiatives.
The Fund is named after Dorothy Grace Bell. She began her teaching career at 18 and retired from that profession at 65. In the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s she operated a children’s camp each summer. After working for a short time in rural schools she settled in Toronto. It was from there that she brought about 25 campers for 6 weeks to Beaver Lake.
