Established in 2019 in memory of Sylvia Clark Mills, this fund will make annual disbursements in support of members of the community, regardless of age, who wish to advance their knowledge and skills in and through the arts as individuals or formally organized groups, (excluding publicly funded groups, programming routinely delivered by school boards and professionals). Project examples may include inviting workshop leaders from outside the community as guest instructors/directors for future performances, attendance/participation in professional development conferences that occur outside of the region, purchase of specialized materials to support community groups with the acquisition of art supplies, drama resources, sheet music, etc.
