Bob Baker
Bob Baker is a leader and team builder. His career in the broader public sector spans four decades. He is an experienced CEO and senior executive, having worked at national charities, in healthcare and in higher education.
As a not-for-profit executive, he has extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing integrated strategies, building brand and reputation, and generating revenue streams. His areas of expertise are strategic planning and governance best practices. He has extensive experience in strategic philanthropy, having raised more than $250 million in philanthropic support for a number of charities.
In his consulting practice, he has facilitated and developed comprehensive strategic plans with a diverse group of entities, including Digital Health Canada, Community Development Council Durham, Parkwood National Historic Site, Durham Family Court Clinic, Station Gallery, and Durham College.
Bob assumed the role of Executive Director of the Community Foundation for Lennox and Addington in September 2023 with a mandate to increase impact and support of L&A County causes through the generous support of the community.
