Glenn McFadden
Born and raised in a southwestern Ontario farming community around the Chatham area. Attended the University of Michigan graduating in business and geography. Worked 5 years for agricultural supplier United Co-operatives of Ontario as a branch manager in several locals across the province. In 1969, Glen left the co-op to take a job teaching in Cloyne, Ontario here in L&A County. Glen earned teaching specialist qualifications at Queen’s University in Kingston. At North Addington Education Centre Glen was coordinator of the Social Science department for 10 years and then moved into the computer area for the next 20 years. After retirement, Glen continues working out of the house building and repairing computers for another 20 years while also designing and managing web pages for businesses and municipalities. His hobby has been gardening and restoring old tractors but nowadays it’s curling and golf.
